Right here in Potter and Randall County, only about 1 in 5 children owns at least 20 books of their own. Research indicates that kids who grow up with 20 books at home achieve 3 years more education than their peers without books in their home.
Storybridge is a nonprofit organization committed to help change the story for our local kids by investing in their access to literacy as early as possible.
OUR MISSION: TO ENSURE THAT EVERY CHILD IN THE AMARILLO AREA OWNS AT LEAST 20 HIGH-QUALITY BOOKS AT HOME, ENTERS KINDERGARTEN READY TO LEARN TO READ, AND UNLOCKS ALL THE BENEFITS OF LITERACY.
Your support puts books directly into the hands of children through programs like Free Book Fairs, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, and Little Free Libraries. You are also fanning the flames of literacy in young families by supporting free enrichment opportunities like Kinderbridge and Summer Storytime.
